In his 25+ years in the field, Dr. Lossa has confronted and solved a wide variety of information technology problems. He attributes his thorough understanding of the business and information technology sides of any problem to his uniquely balanced education. While earning a Ph.D., with a specialty in database design, Dr. Lossa completed his MBA. His experience ranges from software & system design, product & service support, to a way with people rarely found in a technical specialist. He has developed markets in Europe and North America and is fluent in both French and English.
As Manager for European Software Services at Scientific Calculations, a division of Harris Corporation, he was responsible for system integration and custom software development in Europe and for coordination with the US engineering organization. Harris Corporation brought Dr. Lossa to the US from France in 1991 to direct the development of a new family of technologically advanced software products for the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) market.
Dr. Lossa combined his technical
expertise and business acumen with his enthusiasm for working with people
and solving sales, marketing, and information technology problems to begin
his own company in 1995. Always committed to finding the right person
for the job, he maintains close connections with European colleagues.
Sophia-Antipolis, "the French Silicon Valley," is recalled in
